Introduction to Pardubice Wine half marathon

Dear running friends,

I would like to invite you in Pardubice Wine Half Marathon 2012.
This sport events is getting bigger and better every year at it continues to gain the appreciation of the runners community all over the Europe.

The organisation of such a major event requires the utilization of all forces that are related to our cultural heritage, the sport tradition and the touristic characteristic of our region and country. Welcome in the Czech Republic, the country of the famous olympic winner Emil Zatopek! Welcome in Pardubice, the capital of Czech gingerbread. Taste the beautiful wines from the wineries in the South Moravia!

Hundreds of runners coming from the European friendship cities of Pardubice and other countries will be given the opportunity to experience the unique feeling.

I would like to thank our partners that contribute every year in the preparation of this great event. I would also like to thank all my colleagues and volunteers, who work hard for the preparation of the event, as well as to welcome all the participants and their travel parties who chose to travel in Pardubice in order to participate in this unique event.
